Turning Japanese ~
8:39 PMI initially planned to post this last Sunday, in remembrance of the Great East Japan earthquake which happened a year ago in March 11. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough time. So the following day I was able to go home earlier after work, grabbed everything I'd need and it was time to turn Japanese!

On a side note -- As a J-culture enthusiast and someone who adores and loves anything Japanese, oh how my heart ached for the devastation experienced by this country which I consider my source of great inspiration...

Anyway, moving on. Key points: white face, pink eyemake, Oriental eyes, red lips. I tried to follow Michelle Phan's geisha tutorial (yes I know, it's for Halloween) and this is what I came up with.
Ohoho~

Warning: Photo spam ahead. Some of them are downright scary, hahaa!
After putting on makeup
Close-up of my eyemake
Tied my hair up with chopsticks as accents. I wore my pink floral robe, which I think could pass off as a kimono. Tee-hee! I don't have a real kimono, but I would absolutely LOVE to have one...

Base: Purederm Magic BB Cream, Maybelline Angelfit concealer, Majolica Majorca Skin Remaker Pore Cover in BO10, Fanny Serrano Two-Way Cake Foundation in Duchess
Eyeshadow: Majolica Majorca Majolook Illuminator in RS354, Majolica Majorca Jeweling Eyes in PK330, In2It Eye Colour Palette in Sorbet Deluxe (yellowish shade only)
Eyes: Maybelline Long Extreme Stiletto mascara, Etude House Oh M'Eye Line in Black, In2It brow powder in Eyebrowns (also used Etude House Natural false lashes but it got damaged after I removed it, so no pic)
Lips: Maybelline Baby Lips balm, Etude House Soft Touch Auto Lipliner in Shade #5, Nichido Satin Lipstick in Candy
Yes, blush not needed. It would be overkill.
With flash. OMG! It's like I jumped straight out of Fatal Frame, hahahaa!
My eyes are so damn scary. I could really use this on Halloween and scare the lights out of everyone...

Now that's better, meheheh...
This is the first time I posted something on the creative side, so please pardon the outcome. I need more practice in putting on makeup, which hopefully I could show in my next posts. I'm planning to try cosplay makeup!
Ja ne!
