30-Day Song Challenge: Day 17 + My First Glitter Gradient Nails Attempt!

7:29 PM

Day 17: A song that you hear often on the radio.

None.

Really. None. I don't really listen to the radio much that I get to hear one song played a gazillion times in a day. I try to listen to the radio only before sleeping, but when there's nothing good on (even from my favorite station), I switch to my mp3 playlists.

Well, that was easy.

Alright! It's been a long time since I posted something kikay-related. Don't you think so? Meheheh... Well, here it is! I'm breaking away from my plain reds and blacks, and this is my first attempt at glitter gradient.

Aa~ Got longer nails now. You see, I have this bad habit of picking at my nails 'cause I feel uncomfortable whenever they grow long. And I also hate the feeling when some dirt gets stuck beneath them. Ugh... That's why normally, you'd never see that white portion of my nails, I trim them until I get to the pinkish part. Yeah, that's how short they were...

But hey, I was able to control myself. Partly because I got these new polishes that I wanna try. Not that they won't look good on short-short nails, but longer ones feel more girly for me. Ohoho~

Base coat...

Peachy-pink polish and some glitter...

More chunky glitters on the top half of my nails!...

Top coat, and there you go!

Products used:
Caronia Nail Hardener and Base Coat
Peachy-pink frosted nail polish from Saizen (sorry, can't see any actual brand on the bottle)
Wish glitter polish (part of a set)
Bobbie Nail Creme in Star Gazer (my favorite!)
Top coat from Saizen

I actually 'named' this as "Tentai Kansoku" (Stargazing in Japanese) because of, yeah you guessed it... that Bobbie nail creme. Oh, I'm sooo loving it!

Ja ne!
